my ipod plays the music aloud when my earbuds r plugged in!?
okay my friend was using the earbuds for her mp3 and when i plug it into mine first of all if i turn the volume up, its on speaker mode and some on the earbuds. but when i have it on no volume on the music is playing on the earbuds! did her mp3 give my earbuds something...? O.O the ipod was bought a week before christmas. 5th genration purple ipod 8gb
i use my headphones and the same problem... i think i changed some settings on my ipod to make it play aloud... but i checked all the settings and nothing says anything about having it on speaker!
earphones dont hold memory so no virus can be contracted through them. make sure your headphones are fully plugged in. this can happen when earphones are only partially plugged in. if not then send it away for repairs. if it was only purchased before christmas then it should still be under warranty. when i sent mine back shipping was free and they replaced the whole ipod .
go and buy an el-cheapo pair of earphones (normally pick up some $2 ones at a junk store) and see if it's still doing it. if so it's your headphones. if not it's the ipod.
