What software comes on a Mac? iLife and iWork?
Im looking to get the middle Macbook. For accessories they have iWork and ILife each for around $60. Am I correct in assuming that these software titles ARE NOT already on the Mac? I will be buying Microsoft office for Mac student version, so iWork would be useless then, correct? Since it is just a presentation and word document software? iWork is just fun to mess around w/ songs and photos and stuff right? As a student if I buy MacOffice, and DO NOT get iWork or iLife is there anything missing? Any big downfalls or disadvantages of that? I can always install these softwares later right?

iLife comes pre-installed on the sytem, which includes the following:
iPhoto
iWeb
iMovie HD
iDVD
Garage Band
iTunes
iWork does not, but you won't need it if you get MS office.
