Are the new ibook lappots core duo better than the old ones?
Should I buy the new one with the core duo processor, or the older model with the motorola processor.
An iBook (with a G4 processor) will be at least 11 months old. Unless an AppleCare Protection Plan was purchased, it will be going out of warranty soon.
A new MacBook (the replacement for the iBook) will be faster, but may not run older (3+ years) software correctly.
Which one you should buy will depend on what you want to do with it and how long you want to continue to be able to use it.
