How do you *** BLOCK *** an Ipod Touch from accessing a secured wireless network?
Can I configure my wireless router to *** block *** unwanted access from an Ipod Touch?
I have a password protected / encrypted linksys router that is being accessed by our son (against our wishes) with his Ipod Touch (which he bought without our knowledge). I've disabled the SSID Broadcast option but the doesn't seem to have any effect.

Turning SSID off doesn't do any good (as you've discovered, apparently) if he knows the name of the network. There are many free downloads that make it easy to sniff out private networks, i.e., ones that don't broadcast SSID.
MAC-address filtering might work, but that too has fallen by the wayside as an effective security measure because it's become too easy to spoof them.
You say your network is secured, but evidently he's cracking the password. (You *did* try changing the password -- right?) That implies you're using WEP and he's downloaded one of the free apps that crack WEP. It's ridiculously easy and fast. Sounds like your son is a "worthy opponent" in the wireless networking arena, so you can at least give him credit for that! 
The trump card for you would be to switch to WPA or, better still, WPA2 security. The only known crack to either is brute force, i.e., try every possible password until it's found. (Yes, there was some fuss recently about WPA being "cracked," but it's more a matter of semantics than a bonafide crack.) If you have an older router, it may not support either, so you'd have to buy a new one. And use a strong password, i.e., something that isn't in any dictionary, mixes upper- and lower-case, etc. WPA/WPA2, etc. is a good idea anyway, if you want to be secure against possibly nosy neighbors (and their kids!).
In your son's case, just make sure he can't get the password off your computer, and perhaps even be wary of a possible social-engineering attack.
